Earthwatch Australia Alumni Breakfast Launch

We had displays of microscopes looking into sand samples from St. Kilda, field equipment (waders, wetsuits, head torches, native plants), and many more interactive items for people to get a taste of what it is like to be an Earthwatcher.

Director of the Earthwatch Australia Foundation Michelle Joy led the morning and Earthwatch Australia President Anthea Hancocks opened proceedings by acknowledging the traditional owners of the country. Michelle has since said, "It was very exciting to finally launch the Earthwatch Australia Alumni. For those of you who were able to attend, it was great to meet so many of you and we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. What an amazing range of experiences to bring together. Now that we have had the chance to connect, we need you to put out the word about Earthwatch Australia."

Dr. Chris Gillies talks to a guest at the launch.
